Max needs a warm couch with a pillow to lay his head down. Someone to stroke his forehead and tell him everything will be okay. That the world is ok. That he will find his forever after. The place where sadness ends and happiness begins.
One look at his pictures. You can see that his eyes are begging for the chance to show what a great boy he is. He just needs that chance. The chance to show his humans everything he has to offer.
