Calliope needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

Calliope was once someone's pet, of that we are sure.  Somehow, she managed to find herself abandoned and living with a colony of cats for the past year or so.  She bore kittens that didn't make it.  Her affectionate ways found her help with our rescue.

She is so affectionate that she is often under foot.  She wants nothing more than to lay either in your lap or beside you and receive love.  She will reward you with unlimited purring.  If she can't be beside you, she would prefer to hide under the bed or in a closet.  But, once she hears you call her she will come running to receive affection.

Dogs stress her out immensely.  She will pace and growl if she hears or senses them.
