It's not hard to describe this girl as nothing more than a mellow sweetheart!!
She wants nothing more than to be with her people and LOVES everyone she meets!!
Geneva was found with her tether tangled around some trees. We can only guess what kind of an adventure she was on. When we first got her she was missing hair and the pads of her feet were badly tore up. She also had a UTI that has since been cleared up with antibiotics. Sadly, her humans never reclaimed her. If she wasn't pulled by rescue, we hate to think what would have happened....
She was transported to New York by one of our volunteers who was immediately smitten with her sweet ways and gentle demeanor. She did wonderful in the car and seemed to know what "going potty" meant.
She is now thriving in foster and doing wonderfully with her mellow fur brother Eli who is teaching her the ropes. She goes to the dog park daily and is a hit when she goes to the vets office for her check ups.
