Bailey once had a family and she adored them. But then they dumped her at a high kill shelter in NYC. She was on death row and terrified.

What Bailey didn't know was that she had a Guardian Angel watching over her. This angel went and got her from NYC - he had to save this poor girl.  He contacted us and we agreed that we had to help her!

Bailey is an itty bitty Boston pitty - she's super fun and also a HUGE snuggler.  Bailey loves people more than anything.  She just wants to be close and feel their touch. 

Bailey cannot live with dogs or small children (they make her very nervous). She chases cats but can live with them. There is a catch-- she needs very slow introductions over a period of time (using gates for separation and no contact unless cat or Bailey is crated so they can sniff but also be safe while doing so) This enables her to get to know the cat just like people get to know each other! It can take anywhere from 1-2 months, but then she is fine and will even snuggle with a kitty!

This girl needs a calm, stable environment. Bailey’s ideal family will be active, able to handle her high energy and administer structure to help her be her best. She has anxiety so being active will truly help with that and it will allow her people to bond with her. Bailey's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous volunteer!
