My name is Milo. I am a young Chihuahua Pit Bull mix. My foster Mom says that I am the most lovable pup she has fostered yet. I am very interested in cats, though. They are very fun to chase if they run!! The cats here are getting used to me though and don't run much anymore. So, now I just sit with them most of the time.
I love to play with my foster sister, Sadie. We have a great time. Sometimes, one of us gets too rough and then we have a bit of a scuffle but, Mom yells at us and we stop and make up.
I had a rough start to life. I was abused as a pup and have had 4 different homes. Sometimes, I don't like some people and I really don't know why. When Mom has company over, she puts me in my crate and asks them to ignore me. This way I can observe from a distance and get a better feel of what's going on. She then will let me out of my crate and have them still ignore me until I get to know them and decide I am comfortable enough to approach them. I usually decide I love them and get on their laps. I just need space and time to figure it out.
I love to give kisses and Mom says that I am very good at it. My Mom has a grandson that I like pretty well. He can sometimes be rough and I get a little scared but, Mom makes him stop and then it's fine. I kiss him and forgive him.
My foster brother, Fergus, and I can get into some fights. We both want to be the pack leader and there can only be one. I don't always remember that I am a guest here. Mom sprays us with water, I don't really like that. So, I go into my crate and Fergus goes to her bedroom for a time out. Then we get over it and are fine for a while but, Fergus is getting to be an old man and is sometimes grumpy.
I would love a forever home. I don't go potty in the house and I sleep and eat in my crate. I would love a brother or sister to play with. I would love to have cats to chase too but, it would be better for the cats if they don't live with me or have a place to get away like a dog free zone. I would like parents that understand that I was abused and need to meet people my own way and have patience with me.
The adoption donation for Milo is $250.00. He will come to you fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped!!
