Hi! I’m KC (Casey) and I’m already your best friend.   My master has recently been admitted into nursing care and four-legged family members aren’t allowed there.   I know she is sad without me.   Everyone says I’m doing well in trying to develop my new routine.   As sad as I am without her, I love to please everyone so much that it is just my nature to be a happy companion to anyone I meet.  

I’m 8 years young, neutered Cavalier King Charles spaniel mix.   My favorite things to do are sleeping near my best friend's chair, and watching TV.   I’m great on a leash and like medium walks when I get out.   I like being indoors or out, and comfortable inside as long as I’m with you.   I like children and adults alike; once you look at me I’m your buddy.

I never get up on furniture, won’t chew on anything not mine and can be trusted all day with your favorite foods on the counter.   I am a trustworthy companion

I'm good with cats but haven't really spent much quality time with my four legged counterparts.   I’m very submissive around other dogs.   No real exposure in my past to others so I really don’t know how to play much.   I think you'll find I have a great appetite but please only feed me my select diet.   I'm less likely to have an upset tummy later on.   I am a professional at potty time. I realize we only want to be outside as long as we have to.   I have great staying powers too; so if it is raining neither of us really wants to go outside.   I’ll make it to the next round, no problem.

I have been well cared for and have all my vet records to prove it.   I have a collection of collars, food and stuff that belongs to me where ever I go.   I’ve never been in a cage before.   I make sure I don’t upset you to need a pen.   You can trust me to sit within sight of the door all day waiting for you.   I hope you won’t be long.   Or better yet, take me with you! I’m great in the car!   I stay put the entire ride.
