Meet Nikki! She has had a few bumps in the road in her life, being found as a stray and then spending a long time in a shelter, finally getting adopted and then returned, through no fault of her own. That is some lemons for sure, and Nikki decided she was making some doggy lemonade. She will greet you with a big smile and a wagging tale and has been friendly with everyone she meets. She isn't going to let her rough patches keep her down!
She is thought to be around 3 years old and is likely a Cane Corso/pit mix. She is a big girl, but she doesn't abuse that size! She doesn't pull much and is good with other dogs she encounters on the bike path or at the kennel. She was quite impressive in her recent dog and cat tests! She loves going for runs and she really, really likes car rides. She is very attentive to people and loves to lean in close or sit with her head in your lap. She can be a bit stubborn at times, as she would rather be the one to say when it is time to turn around on her run, or to go back to her kennel. She will sit down and look at you like "Eh, I don't think so". But she is pretty easy to convince, with some silly dance moves or a treat or two! This is a fun, good looking, loving dog who will be a wonderful part of someone's family.
