Sassy came to DITR September 30th along with her sister. This frightened girl needs an understanding person to give her time to want to love. She is very standoffish but loves to eat treats out your hand. She also would love another pup to follow and guide her. I feel with time she could be a loving pup. She has lived on the streets most of her life and trusting people is not something she is ready for. She is not aggressive in anyway just a frightened girl that needs a strong, caring person to show her that humans care.  She loves for you to sit in the room with her and read, she makes the cutest sounds, and also will come up and smell you and tilt her cute little head as her ears flop. I call her Sassy because she is very vocal and it will make you giggle. This girl has broken my heart from day one, but now there are times she makes me smile and laugh. Just take a look at her adorable face and you will agree she needs a chance for a great life!
