Ranger is still a pup, only 11 months old. He is a mixed breed but, mostly Black Labrador Retriever.
Ranger smiles where all his teeth show and thinks he's a lap dog. He's 100% house broken but, suffers separation anxiety. He is crated when no one is home. But, he wasn't crate trained properly and seems to fear the crate time. It is something we are working on.
As with most dogs but, especially Labradors, he needs appropriate things to chew or he'll chew what's yours. He needs stimulation when you are gone and he is in the crate. He needs a safe, special toy that is not destructible and a heavier duty crate.
He would do well with another dog to play with and cuddle with . He is amazing with his foster fur sister and foster baby brother and sister. He loves to cuddle. Like most Labradors, being with his people is his#1 activity, even if that activity is being a couch potato.
