Penelope is an approximately 5 year old overbred momma that was at a local shelter since August 2018. She was in jeopardy because she has been very sick with pneumonia on an off. This is very hard to kick in a shelter environment.
She is very small at approximately 40 pounds. She knows some basic commands and adores being with people. She is very gentle taking treats and has shown no food or toy issues. She was a little restless in her crate the first night. but settled down when a white noise baby monitor was put on. She hasn't had a quiet night in a long time!!
She appears to be housebroken will go to the door when she has to go out. We were told she prefers calm dogs but will learn more as she decompresses and will update her profile.
Penelope is currently in boarding and we are looking for a foster or forever home for her!
