Charlie was rescued off the streets of Rochester on November 9th. Blinded by cataracts caused by untreated diabetes he was literally skin and bones. Diamonds in the Ruff found a foster to pick him up and taken him in. Quick trip to the vets for blood work up and lessons in giving insulin shots twice a day and our little guy has gone from 8.6 pounds to 11.6 in just over 6 weeks. His hair is returning, he’s filled out and is running around outside and inside the house. Cataracts and all. It’s amazing what love and care can do!!
He is house broken but if you’re going to be gone too long a puppy pad is his go to place. He sleeps and plays and rolls over for belly rubs. Stands up on his back legs for treats and to be picked up. Charlie just wants to be with you. A warm sweater is a must for this older (10+) gentle soul. Cat and dog friendly even gentle children too. Would this special needs older dog be just the answer for you!?! Retired or work from home person would be ideal.
