This handsome fella with the adorable underbite is Otis and he is a big goofy puppy in an adult body. He makes the volunteers chuckle with his zest for life, and the wiggle in his walk. Otis was pulled from a local shelter where he was not getting any interest (surprisingly!). DITR & Hamburg Mutts for Freedom teamed up together to bring him into rescue! 

Otis loves to go for walks and smell everything in his path embracing all that is around him. He has done well with the dogs he has met at the shelter but we always require a meet and greet with any resident dogs in a home to make sure it is a good fit. Otis did show some guarding with his food, but this is a precaution we let adopters know about and it can be managed in a home setting with the proper guidance. We also recommend a home without small children due to his size, and his guarding at this point. Otis is very friendly guy and he will be sure to steal your heart once you meet him.
