He originally came to us when he was found living the hard life on the streets of Lockport. We took him in and noticed he wasn't feeling well at all. It was a mad dash to the vets. He underwent surgery for a foreign body in his stomach. It turned out to be a rubber glove. Probably used in the food service industry and smelling of the food, he was hungry and on the streets and looking for any way to survive.
Percy was on the mend and found an amazing adopter. Percy loved her and she loved Percy. They were BFFs until the unthinkable happened. Percy's soulmate became ill and passed away. Percy is now back in his previous foster home. You see, once a Diamond always a Diamond. And if the going gets tough, we help them through no matter what, always.
Percy is a known cuddler and possible tripping hazard as he likes to be near you at all times. He likes to grade papers with his foster. He loves to purr and let you know how much he appreciates the warmth, food and affection.
