In May DITR received an email about 5 puppies that were surrendered to a local dog control officer. They had no where for these puppies to go and they did not want to send them to the SPCA. One of them did not make it through the night so we knew it was urgent to get them into a safe home and to the vet. All rescues they contacted were overflowing, including us, but we were able to find fosters for these beautiful babies and take them into our rescue. 

Winnie is shy at first but will warm up once she knows you will love and protect her. She loves people, kids and small dogs. She is very social with others. Loud noises such as the vacuum or  lawn mower makes nervous she will run & hide. Winnie loves to play outside! She is working on potty training, walking on a leash & basic commands. She is very active with lots of energy. She loves to chew everything, she's the perfect puppy!
