Carter is a sweet older gentleman but still has plenty of pep in his step! You would never know he’s 10 years old. He loves to go for walks and play with the other dogs in his foster home. He enjoys fetch but his favorite thing is snuggling with his humans. He thinks he’s a lap dog (even though he’s almost 50 lbs) He’ll climb right on top of you and smack a kiss on you. He knows sit and come and has the best pearly white smile we've ever seen on a dog. He is an angel when you trim his nails, bathe him, wipe his feet or brush him. He can be in a crate when you’re not home but he’d likely be fine without one.
Carter would be fine with older, considerate kids 8-10 years and older.
Carter's owner took very good care of him for all of his 10 years until he sadly had to go into hospice and give up his best friend.
