Louis, or Lou Bear, as his foster family calls him - is a sweetheart of a boy looking for a family to call all his own! He is a sweet little furry who has had the unfortunate luck of testing FIV+. Unfortunately that phrase, when affiliated with kitties, brings about a stigmata and an unfortunate fear. Knowledge is power, but rarely do we find people with FIV knowledge looking for these sweet babies.
Lou Bear is a gentleman and has a very unique meow that makes all who hear it giggle. ESPECIALLY when he hears breakfast or dinner being prepared!
Louis is looking for a family to call his own. He would do best as your only feline but does well with doggies. Especially mellow ones. He loves all people he meets and does great with little kids even!!
He is famous for lap snuggles, bed time snuggles, couch snuggles, and laying on the couch waiting for you to sit down snuggles…. He truly loves people and is eager to be loved on, scratched, rubbed, and petted. If he feels he isn’t getting proper attention he will reach his paw out and tap you with it to bring your focus back to him all while meowing the song of his people with his crazy voice.
Lou Bear had a rough start to life but he has already started his new chapter of a better life. He came to us in pretty rough shape but has healed up wonderfully!! His ears show the signs of a rough life, but that just adds to his personality. He has learned about the finer things in life as well!!! Like snuggly blankets, kitty beds, a full belly, and a happy heart…..
Please consider opening your home to this sweet boy so he can regal you with his silly songs, head bumps, loud purrs, and amazing snuggling skills…..
