Meet Chief!
He is a young guy, about 2 years old, who has had a rough start to life. He came to us from Rochester Animal Shelter. He seems to be a mix of Pit and possibly Mastiff!
Chief is a sweet boy and will be AMAZING with the right adopter!
Chief is like a puppy stuck in a big adult dog body. He is not always aware of his size when he comes to cuddle and may easily knock over a child or elderly person. Because of this, we are recommending no small children.
He adjusted very quickly to his board and train program which leaves our team confident he will continue learning in a furever home with a physically capable and confident owner. Under supervision, he is a great playmate for other dogs!
Chief loves to play with his toys; using toys and positive reinforcement are the best tools to create and/or control any desired behaviors in the future.
He is also very much treat motivated! He LOVES people and only wants your attention.
This guy DESERVES a chance. He is an absolute lover and he deserves to know love, compassion and have a warm bed at night with his people! Is it you?
