This sweet senior spent 2.5 years in a shelter after what he thought was his "forever family" left him behind. To make things worse, Tillito was attacked several times by other dogs in the shelter's play yard; so now he's afraid other dogs. Who could blame him?

Fortunatly, Tillito's a Diamond now & his foster family has changed his life for the better! They gave him the time he needed to be ready for his forever family, now we just need to find him the right home. Tillito takes time to feel comfortable with strangers & the more he is ignored the faster he wants to be your friend!

He is not good with small children, as they scare him. He needs to be with a family who is dog  savvy and will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. He is house and crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. His foster mom will ask him if he's ready for "nite nite", then he goes out for his bedtime potty break and comes in and goes right into his room (aka crate).

Poor guy is so misunderstood when he is ready he is the most affectionate guy. When he is asleep just make sure you call his name before touching him or he gets scared he might snap but he has never tried to bite me I just say no and he's good. He just needs to clear his sleep fogged brain to know he is safe. ◇12 1/2 old year low rider ◇ Sits politely for treats and dinner ◇ Loves to hangout with his people ◇ Loves walks and car rides ◇ Loves massages and brushes with. soft bristle brush ◇ Healthy old gentleman He will greet you when you come home with a toy, bone or whatever ever he can show off to you. He really is a special boy. The right home won't be put off by him being scared at first because when he finally loves you watch out he just transforms into a love bug.
