Jake is not only incredibly handsome but also a perfect gentleman! He is about 2 years old and weighs about 80 lbs. He came to us originally as an owner surrender. 

Jake is VERY playful with his doggy friends! He gets so excited to play and sometimes cannot control his excitement. He has a very "rough and tumble" playstyle. This is something to keep in mind if you have another dog in your home. He will want to play as much as possible so senior or really small dogs are probably not ideal. 

He is great with kids and all people. Because of his size we are recommending kids 8+ that know how to treat animals properly. 

Jake can be a bit of an escape artist and try to explore outside of the home, so he needs a strong, fully fenced yard and a family that will take the proper precautions to not leave him out in the yard alone for long periods of time or any other situation where he would be tempted to go out exploring. He pulls a little bit on a leash (nothing that can't be worked on) and he enjoys playing with his toys. This guy would be great in so many homes that are willing to show him the love and attention he deserves. If that is you, please fill out our adoption application!
