Hi, my name is Max, I am a five year old black fluffy poodle mix! I love car rides, squeaky toys, and long naps. I miss my foster mom a lot when she leaves, but I wag my little tail so much when she comes home. I am perfect for an older companion, adult only home. Kids frighten me and I do not like a lot of commotion. A quiet, low traffic home is my dream!
I have been through a lot so I need lots of extra time to get used to you. I'm sorry for that but don't give up on me! I'm scared and don't trust easily. Let me do my thing and I will snuggle with you when I'm ready. Also, please don't touch my paws... it scares me!
I am crate trained and very low maintenance. I prefer to be the only dog because I don't like to share my toys... sounds a bit bratty but I'm just being honest. I have never seen a cat so not sure how that would go. Please fill out an application to meet me if you think I could be your best friend!
