Little Darla Evergreen is a perfect sized pocket pittie at 44 lbs, she is full grown and estimated to be 5 years old but with all the energy of a Puppy.
Darla recently had double entropion (eyelid) surgery & her stitches are dissolving. She has has some itchy skin issues, so she’s currently receiving medicated baths a few times a week.
She is a fresh slate for a family to learn together and would greatly benefit from some training to bond with her new family. She was said to do well with other dogs at the shelter, but as always a meet and greet is required and she needs slow introductions. She would do best with another dog with a rowdy play style to be able to handle her energy.
We don’t know her past but when she got to her foster home she didn’t really know how to “dog” like walking on her leash and playing with toys. She’s starting to figure these things out now and she even picked up on fetch and loves it but her favorite thing to do is get belly and chin rubs! Darla is crate trained, but can be bouncy & mouthy, so we’re recommending only older, respectful children at this time (little ones might accidentally be knocked over) & cats are unknown at this time.
She needs daily exercise and would love a yard to run her zoomies out at her forever home.
Sweet Darla is looking for a foster or forever home; please fill out an application to meet this doll!!!
