Sammy is a sweet, goofy puppy in a big dog's body!  He loves every person he meets & is guaranteed to make you smile!  He's very playful and has a lot of happy puppy energy that will require daily exercise and playtime.  Sammy needs a secure, fenced-in yard to run around and play in.  Regular walks to broaden his world and enhance his socialization skills are highly recommended.  

Sammy knows "sit" and "look at me".  He’s a smart, eager to please puppy who'd definitely enjoy & benefit from basic obedience classes (plus it's a great way to bond with each other).  Sammy is appropriately playful with other dogs; he'd love to have a fur sibling to play with ; as always a meet and greet with any resident or frequently visiting dogs is required.  He walks nicely, he does get overly excited to see dogs while he’s on leash, but he's easily redirected.  Cats are unknown and we don't have a way to cat test him at this time.  He's good with older, respectful children; his size, energy & playfulness might be too much for young ones.

Sammy is crate trained.  He is house trained, but he may sometimes forget that "we don't lift our leg in the house"; he was recently neutered, so with appropriate training (and his hormones settling down), this should be easy to correct. He rides great in the car and would love to accompany you on adventures!
