Both of these adorable dogs were owner surrenders to the same animal shelter down south. They were surrendered at different times but we were asked to help both of them.
Ferris was there for 2 months when a volunteer reached out to us to see if we could take him into our rescue. He was terrified in the shelter and his kennel, but once he was out he was a completely different dog. He loved the fresh air and sunshine as well as playing with other dogs. He traveled up to Buffalo with Roxie and they became fast buddies. They are now in a foster home together. In this short time, these 2 dogs have become bonded and will need to be adopted together. Roxie is around 3 years old and she is the more dominant, bossy gal. Ferris is approximately 2 years old and more mellow. Both are super sweet and love other dogs and people!
~~They do require a fenced in yard (Unfortunately an invisible fence is not appropriate for them)~~
