Caroline is a beautiful, sweet, playful tabby. She came from a colony of multiple Mom's with litters of varying ages that appeared to be co-parenting. You'd find a 2 week old and a 6 week old nursing on the same cat.
Caroline and her sister Jaina have tested positive for FIV antibodies. This could mean that they are FIV or that they still have antibodies from their mother. A retest at 6 months is recommended.
FIV is not as scary as it sounds and we do recommend that you read up on it. These cats DO live long, happy, healthy lives. They do have a compromised immune system so, at any sign of illness, you do react more immediately than with a cat that tested negative. We recommend L-Lysine added to their wet food daily to help give that immune system a boost.
She will come with age appropriate vaccines and her spay/rabies is included in her adoption fee and will be scheduled when she is of age.
