Xana showed up one day in the brush near an old abandoned church. She was not one of the many Community Cats of the neighborhood. She was too friendly to be one too. She came right to her rescuer and off she went to safety.
We searched and searched for an owner and found none. She was not chipped. So, into our care she went.
She is warming up quickly to life in a home. From day one she was friendly and approached people for head scratches. She comes over when called, but comes faster when you shake a bag of treats. She is extremely food motivated and will take the treats right from your hand as well as clean her bowl twice a day. She has a weakness for toys on a string and enjoys being held like a baby.
