Jack is a Shih Tzu mix around 2 yrs old.  was found as a stray and never claimed.  He is a very active, playful  and loving guy! He loves his toys, doing zoomies, going for walks  and is always up for playing fetch. He is no couch potato.  At the end of the day he likes to cuddle and give kisses. 

Jack is in a foster home with other small dogs and gets along fine with them. He has made it known he does not like bigger dogs and we are not  100% sure about cats. He was in a temp foster for 24hrs with a cat and there were no issues between them.  As always a meet is required if you have another dog. 

When Jack went into his foster home he was not potty trained. He has come along way but does have the occasional accident if he is not supervised.  His foster mom takes him out often and crates him when not home. His new family will have to continue working with him. Please expect accidents while adjusting to a new home.

Jack is very protective of his home when strangers come in. His foster mom has company give him treats and he normally calms down after a few minutes. However sometimes he decides he doesn’t care for certain people and foster mom has to crate him.  Because of this we feel a home without a lot of people coming and going is best. Also a home without young children/grandchildren. 

Jack needs a dog savy home that understands him and will continue working with him.  He would love a fenced in yard to run around in! Oh, and he needs to go to the groomer every 6-8 weeks to keep him looking like his handsome self!
