Alvin was born in a feral colony. He was scared but, showed signs he was ready and willing for love. He was scooped up and rushed to our care. While he was a little hissy when reached for, he had no action behind it. It only took a day for him to be purring up a storm and loving belly rubs.
He now asks for attention and loves to be held. Much still scares him and sudden sounds and movements make him want to run but, with time, that will decrease if not go away.
Alvin is polydactyl or a "Hemmingway Cat". He absolutely loves other cats and kittens. While he does currently reside with 2 large dogs, their level of barking can sometimes still be scary. But, it's still all quite new to him.
