Meet our sweet and snuggly Diamond, Simba!

Simba was pulled from a local shelter where he was an owner surrender with a life threatening injury. He had surgery and received the care he needed, but then it was discovered he was heart-worm positive.

With a face like that - we knew we had to save him! One of our volunteers stepped up to foster him and could tell immediately what a sweet boy he is. He’s a big, goofy, lap dog!

Simba is VERY treat motivated! He knows his basic commands - place, sit, stay, down and rollover :) Even though he is a smart cookie and knows these commands, he needs to work on not stealing pizza off the counter.

Simba completed his HW treatment and is ready for his forever home!! He does get along with other dogs with slow introductions, definitely no kitties for this guy. He also gets scared / startled easily so would do best in a home without a lot of traffic coming in and out and needs to be slowly introduced to new people.
