Leo had a loving owner. Sadly, that loving owner has dementia and had to go live in a nursing home. The family of his caretaker gave a short window to find him placement or euthanize. That's when we stepped in.
He gave much comfort to his owner and deserves to have that comfort rewarded with love and comfort given in kind. Leo has a solitary nature. He just likes to keep to himself.
Leo is amazing. He loves to have his head and ears scratched, endlessly . He is gentle, patient and quietly present.
Leo has been exposed to the resident cats without any confrontation and I think he'll do ok in a home with other cats but also be ok as an only cat. He currently lives with foster dog siblings and does well with them, as they are calmer and do not chase him!
He's not very adventurous in his freedom to roam the house. He still prefers to hang out in the basement. He'll be an awesome companion in any quiet home.
