Jack needs a foster or adopter so he can travel to Buffalo, NY from the Carolinas April 20th!

We rescued Jack from a shelter down south after him and his 4 sisters were abandoned in a home. Luckily his sisters got rescued but that left Jack at high risk. So we agreed to take him on even if it meant high boarding bills until we found placement for him. Jack has now been fully vetted and has undergone heart-worm treatment. So he is eager and ready to travel north and be in his fureverhome.

Jack is estimated to be about 3 years old. He is a brindle terrier mix and on the smaller side. Weighing about 36lbs. A healthy weight for Jack would be about 45lbs. Jack has definitely had a rough life up until now. He has no idea what it’s like to just be a dog! He is the sweetest boy, full of love, hugs, snuggles, kisses and all! He would do best in a home with another female dog. No dominant dogs for this guy. Jack is doing good with crate training and working on his house training. He would love a low key home with no younger kids who would scare him. Older kids would be okay. Jack would enjoy walks in the neighborhood or hiking. He enjoys going for a car ride and riding shotgun! He enjoys all the simple things life has to offer.
