Shannon is looking for a foster or adopter in Buffalo, NY.

She was saved at the last minute in Haralson County, GA -  she had been in animal control for over 3 months and no one claimed or wanted her. She and another dog, Murphy, were labeled as dog aggressive which is usually a death sentence in the shelter.  Hamburg Mutts for Freedom saved them both.

Shannon is now in boarding in GA where she is working on some training while she waits to make her journey to Buffalo. She is doing great on her leash walking and also on her manners - she is so happy to see her people that she jumps up to say hello - but the loving trainers at Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation, Inc are helping her with that. She is a little bit mouthy so that is why we say she should not be in a home with small children.  Shannon would do well in a foster or forever home where she has structure and lots of fun exercise.

At GCRR, they held a lure chasing enrichment run with some of the dogs. Shannon was one of the best runners!! She loved it so much! This sweet girl was labeled as "dog aggressive" in the shelter but now that she knows she is safe, she has doggy friends (she does better with male dogs) who she plays with.
