This sweet girl was found as a stray and brought to a local shelter. She was most likely dumped after having a few litters of puppies. She was underweight and her skin was looking a bit rough. She has since put on weight and her fur is growing in silky smooth!
LuLu has learned to "sit" and takes treats very gently. She also loves being outside, rolling in the grass and doing laps in the yard. She LOVES tennis balls & squeaky toys! After all that exercise she loves snuggling and getting lots of pets.
She doesn't do well in a crate. We believe she may have been crated for extended periods of time at some point; but she's content & well behaved when confined to a designated area or a room when her foster isn't home.
LuLu loves all people but other animals currently make her a bit nervous. We think she just hasn't had a chance to learn how to socialize with them properly. When dogs approach her she does get a bit vocal but it's out of insecurity. With slow intros and training, we think that she could be dog friendly. She just needs to gain her confidence. We are unsure of cats at this time.
