Say hello to Bentley!

Bentley finds himself in need of a new home, again. He needs a very specific home due to his need for continued dedication on the part of his adopter to his training and understanding his breed. Please read his entire bio before applying for him. 

This guy is super smart, knows commands and a few little tricks! However, Bentley is more of a "loner". He is a working breed so he needs a job and MUST go to a home that has experience with this type of breed. He requires daily exercise and mental stimulation. He is HIGHLY food motivated. He would thrive in a home that can do agility and/or scent exercises/training with him.

He is nervous with fast movements in large groups of people so a low traffic, quiet home with ADULTS ONLY is required. He can be sensitive to being touched in certain areas so we are currently working on that with him. But when he goes into a new home he will have to "start over" so patience and experience are key. 

Bentley is dog friendly but hasn't had a ton of socialization. This can be worked on in the right home BUT we feel being the only dog is ideal.  

He's been through so much in his short 2 years of life so a family who understands this and who will be patient with him is a must. We know his furever home is out there!
