Lucy is an adorable sweetheart; believed to be around 2 yrs old. She came into rescue dehydrated & emaciated, needing time get healthy & fully decompress with lots of tender loving care & understanding; now she's ready for a loving foster or forever home!

Aside from being too cute for words, Lucy is a happy, fun, energetic girl who LOVES people and playing with toys. She's super smart, eager to please & very treat motivated; she's already learned "sit" and "paw"!

Lucy likes other dogs but as always, a meet & greet with resident and frequently visiting dogs facilitated by a DITR volunteer is required.  We haven't had the opportunity to have Lucy around young children but with as much as she loves people & playing, we believe she'd enjoy children old enough to understand being respectful around a dog. Cats are unknown; if you have a cat(s) DITR will facilitate a safe, no contact "cat test" with Lucy and your cat(s) as part of the approval process.
