Jackie is a 14 year old cattle dog mix who was surrendered to us when her owner was hospitalized. Even through her sadness she is a great dog. She is up to date on her shots but due to her age she has a few health issues such as a heart murmur and cataracts. With both of these issues she is doing fine. No medication needed. (I have very young cats with heart murmurs and they are perfectly normal acting).  She has playful moments but is content to just rest often especially if she can lay by you. She does not require a lot of activity but does enjoy a short walk,  pat on the head, and a warm bed to sleep in. She has only been tested with one dog and she doesn't seem to care for dogs. Not sure about cats.
