Hold on to your heart becaue I will steal it in an instant!  I am Baloo, a big fluffy shepherd mix with loads of love to give.  I am 7 years young and up to date on all my shots and heartworm meds.  I just met my foster mom's vet who gave me a big thumbs up for being in good health, behaving well, and having a mellow disposition.  I am a fantastic passenger on car rides, I enjoy being brushed (have to maintain my movie star looks), and I absolutely love playing fetch!  Cats and small dogs excite my prey drive, but I play very well with my medium-sized foster siblings.  I can be a bit skittish on-lead as I have a strong instinct to protect my humans, so I would prefer to live with a family who has enough room for me to roam and run,but don't worry - I'm not an escape artist!  I'm trained to an invisible fence and I know my basic obedience commands very well.  I am gentle when taking treats and I take direction well from all my humans, including my 13-year old foster boy.  I am looking for a benevolent aplha owner who will appreciate my size, strength, and intelligence.  I feel sure that there is a person out there waiting for a dog to fill a space in his/her heart and I'm just the guy to do it!
