Holley is an incredibly unique looking dog. Our best guess is that she is either a Basset Hound/Shar Pei or English Bulldog/Shar Pei mix. Whatever she is, she is nothing short of adorable.
Holley was found in the town of Holley, sleeping in a lumber yard. With no owner looking for her, no collar/tags, no microchip, she was taken to the Orleans County Animal Shelter.
Holley is an absolute sweetheart. A little timid at first of new people, but warms up quickly. She loves to romp around the yard with other dogs, snorting with excitment the whole time.
Holley hasn't been around cats, but we couldn't imagine this sweet girl not getting along with them.
Once she decides to join you on the couch, or chair, she will quickly become your snuggle buddy. She loves to be pet, and have her ears rubbed.
Because Holley is a shy, she would benefit greatly by going to a home with another canine sibling. She picks up on queues from other dogs quickly, and really comes out of her shell.
If you would like to make Holley a part of your family, please fill out an adoption application :)
