Meet Rocky. Rocky and his brother Titan belonged to a military family in Florida. When the husband found out that he was being stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, and that the base didn't allow pit bull type dogs, he started reaching out for help.
Rocky and Titans family love them dearly, and wanted to make sure if they couldn't keep them, that they found their way to a loving home, as they refused to dump them off at some shelter.
The family reached out to us and we agreed to help. There were a lot of ups and downs in getting Rocky and Titan to us, but we finally got them. Check out their story on our Facebook page
Rocky and Titan are incredibly well behaved, and very much bonded. So we will be looking for a home that is willing to adopt both of them. They have been through a lot recently, and we won't make them go through anything more alone. Trust us when we say, these two will not disappoint.
Rocky is an 11 year old Pit Bull/German Shepherd mix. He loves to snuggle with his brother on the couch, or romp around with him in the yard. Don't let his age fool you. This boy is full of spunk, and loves to play, but is also content to lay with you on the couch and watch TV, and possibly share your popcorn.
Rocky is housebroken, basic commands, and is an all around well behaved boy. No need to crate him, as he is not destructive and will not have accidents while you are away.
