Chance has a sad story, but it is getting better. He jumped into an unknown woman's car and was scared and shaking. The local DCO rescued him and took him home. He was very withdrawn and would not come out of the doghouse he was housed in. The DCO reached out to us and we decided to see what we could do. We brought him to a temporary foster and amazing to all of us, he has just blossomed! He loves to go for walks, has been around children, and other dogs and seems to have done very well. We are continuing to take him out in new surroudings, and he is not the same dog we took in a few weeks ago. Someone has taught him some basic commands and he is improving daily.
