Vera is a 4 year old pit mix who has had a rough start and needed surgery due to severe happy tail. She was also quite thin. She has now gained weight and is still doing so. She is very smart, good with commands and loves attention.
Vera loves fetch, tug of war, and long walks. She also enjoys cuddling.

Vera is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on leash. She would prefer to be the only animal in the house and preferably with older children. She neds a home where she can continue learning to be someones special pet and who understands her needs.
