Meet Rasta,a 2-4 year old retriever mix found on an abandoned property in an outside pen submerged in mud, no shelter, no straw to curl up on at night. The pen was wired shut, which means food, if it was given, was thrown over the pen fence. Rasta's water was yellow and filled with dead flies and covered with a thin film of oil.
Diamonds thought Rasta should have a chance to know the comfort of a home with a soft bed, regular meals, clean water; but most of all we want him to know love. How could we say no to this precious companion? We believe his opportunity to be loved and give love is still out there waiting.
Rasta has been sent to a groomer and we can't wait to post the "after" picture of this beautiful boy. We tentatively await HW results, as we do with all animals that have lived their life in the elements. Rasta is a very sweet soul and its through your donations, and only through your donations that we can give Rasta his chance.
