Sassy is a sweet senior Springer Spaniel who is looking for a bed to curl up on and a family to share her love. Sadly, Sassy's owner passed away this year and now she's looking for her fur-ever home! She's a quiet and affectionate girl who is easy to please. She listens very well and knows basic commands. She is crate-trained, house-trained and leash-trained. She likes car rides, too! She is amazing with kids and does very well with dogs and cats. She's in a foster home with 4 cats and 2 dogs! She doesn't even bat an eye. She would do well with older children simply because of her lower energy level and age. She is 10, after all! She's not too playful with the other dogs but does like to watch while they make a mess in the house. She's probably encouraging them while sitting back and not getting any of the blame!

Sassy loves being outside and taking long, slow walks. She can be playful when she wants attention. She loves mealtime and loves treats so you can get her to do just about anything for a treat! She's such a good girl and doesn't need much. She does have hypothyroidism which will require yearly blood work and medication twice per day. The medication is inexpensive at only $11 per month.

The adoption fee for Sassy is $150.00.  She will come to you fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped.
