Ruger is an amazing hound mix. He is a very sweet, loving boy with those he trusts. Every single day he shows a little more of his personality. He loves his fur siblings and loves to run around and play with them. He absolutely needs a doggie sibling in his furever home!
Ruger is looking for a family that will understand it will be a very slow transition introducing him to their family. New faces and new places make him nervous. His furever family has to be willing to work with him and help him learn to trust. This means that you may have to meet him a few times before starting a trial adoption period.
Ruger requires a fenced-in yard. He has fears associated with leashes and he should only be put on a leash when necessary. Such as a vet visit.
But once you get past that, if you can stick it out, you will be rewarded with the most loyal, loving and sweet boy. And Diamonds will be here to help you through it all if you think he is the right fit for your family.
