Trevor was left out to die. Even his bowls were thrown in the trash as his family drove away.
They didn't want a senior cat anymore. One with a limp from an old injury. So Trevor slowly began to die. Until someone came along and saw the Diamond within and he was rescued.
Trevor is a love bug, he can't get enough attention and would just love a lap to spend the day sleeping on. As a senior he doesn't have a lot of energy but he still has plenty of kisses to give.
Trevor does have a treatable medical condition, hyperthyroidism, that will require he stays on a pill twice daily and has routine bloodwork to monitor his levels. His medication is cheap, and he loves to take his pills in a bit of food.
We don't know how he will be with other animals, but we think as long as they leave him alone, he will do the same. His current foster home has a dog, but the dog doesn't like cats so they have not been introduced - but Trevor, at least, shows no concern with the sounds and smells.
He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.
There is no adoption cost for Trevor for his approved forever home, though we would ask for a good will donation if possible.
