Cruiser is a fantastic pure bred Boston Terrier that we took into rescue because his owners dumped him into a very high kill dog pound, simply because they bought a new puppy! We can't understand how anyone could ever do that to any dog, but especially when the dog is as wonderful as Cruiser is. Cruiser is in foster in a home with dogs and cats, and he is completely fine with all. He has met a toddler and a young child since his arrival into foster and he was great with them, licking their face and hands! He is house broken, and likes to sleep in bed with you, all cuddled up beside you. He also likes to lay in your lap, or perch above your head on the back of the couch or chair, like a cat! He is a very affectionate little man, who loves to give kisses and snuggle. Cruiser walks easily on a leash, and is not fearful of strangers, he loves everyone he meets! 

Cruiser's foster and another DITR volunteer, did a special fundraiser just for him, and raised all the fees for his vetting. He was not neutered before coming to rescue, and all of his vaccines were out of date. He has now been neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated, and microchipped. Because all of that was done with generous donations, that means Cruiser is "sponsored". That means he has no actual adoption fee, however we would respectfully request whomever adopts him to make a donation back to the rescue in his name, of whatever they feel they can do.  He is 10 years old, but looks and acts half his age. He should still have many years left to give love and loyalty!
