Molly is a 1 yr old Bichon/Shih Tzu mix. She is as sweet as can be. When meeting new people she can be a little shy but once she knows you she will not leave your side. If children are in the home we recommend them being over the age of 12.
She gets along great with dogs her size, but bigger dogs do make her nervous.
So, if she goes to a home with dogs, they do need to be roughly her size or smaller.
Although we have not tested her with cats yet we find it hard to believe she would be anything but fine with them.
Molly likes to sleep in her crate at night time as long as it is in the bedroom with you. During the day though she is not so happy in the crate and will whine and cry. So she should not be crated more then 4 hours at a time. Because of the noise she makes while being crate apartment living is not ideal.
Molly was not potty trained when she came to Diamonds. Her foster family has been working on it and she is doing well but does still have occasional accidents. A patient family where someone is home most of the day would be best for her. A family who will be diligent about letting her out often to potty. Preferably a fenced in yard so she can be let out off leash to potty as sometimes she seems shy on the leash to go in front of you. Molly loves to go for walks and is good on a leash.
She would love to have another furry friend to play tug of war and chase with. She also likes playing fetch and will usually bring the ball back to you. She does not bark a lot but will let you know when someone is at the door or if she is bored and wants to play. Molly will need regular grooming on that beautiful coat of hers.

The adoption fee for Molly is $250.00. She will come fully vetted, spayed and microchipped.
