Max was brought into Diamonds from a nearby shelter. They try their best but we felt we would have a better chance of getting this amazingly sweet boy adopted up here. He has a raspy hoarse meow - he sounds more like a bird than a cat!
Max had a home once, he came neutered and 4 foot declawed to the shelter. So someone once loved him. But he was left to find a new home and has been depressed and frightened watching others get adopted but not him. So he lost some weight and stopped grooming himself.
Coming to Diamonds we hope to give this young gentleman a new outlook on life. He's gotten a lion cut to remove the matts and is in a loving foster home to fatten him up.
He is good with other cats. He may warm up to friendly, calmer dogs though we don't know how much experience he has had with them. He might prefer a quieter home or an older child that isn't quite so active.
He comes fully vaccinated and combo tested negative.
