Tobias came to us as a local surrender.  He is a happy go lucky, very active little boy.  However he is special needs - Tobias is deaf and has a very slight heart murmur (Grade 1).  Our vet doesn't feel it will cause ANY problems in his future, just something to know.

Being deaf doesn't stop Tobias, he loves to run and play in his very active foster home.  They have 2 big dogs and he especially loves them.  They have a toddler and he plays ok with him, but we'd recommend no small children because he cannot hear them coming and because he cannot hear the usual stop signals he might be too rough in playing with very young kids.

They do have other cats too, he will respect an older cat that will put him in his place.  But younger cats or shy cats will find him to be a pest.

He is fully vaccinated and combo tested negative.  He is neutered.

We do have a handout available in how to live and train a deaf cat as it can be different from what you are use to if you have never had to deal with one.  Since he cannot hear normal environmental sounds he may not know to move out of the way or get away from something.  

He's a wonderful little boy and would be purrfect for the right home.
