Ella is super sweet, stubborn girl.  She is a beautiful and intelligent dog who learns at her own pace, on her own terms.  She is incredibly easy in the house.  She has learned quite a few commands such as sit, back, with me and recall. She uses potty bells to signal she needs to go out but, is still working on house breaking so may have an accident if the bells aren't responded to.

She loves to play with toys.  She loves her nylabones and anything soft whether it be a stuffie, a scarf or towel and will retrieve and surround herself with these things.

When Ella first came to us everything was new and scary!  The flush of a toilet, sound of washer and dryer were all new.  She has overcome the fear of most household items now except for Vacuum.

Ella is a great landscaper and will attempt to wander if not fenced in.  Pyr's view not what they see as their territory but, as far as they can wander as their territory.  Therefore, should never be off leash when not fenced in.  When another dog or human is with her she is not as likely to landscape but, is sure to when alone outside.  We are working on leash skills, the leash is still quite scary and causes her to shut down.  She will be available for adoption once she overcomes this fear.

She should be kept on a schedule.  She is nocturnal and the barking can be limited to appropriate times when kept on a schedule.  She is protective and will bark when she hears a potential threat from a great distance that you may not hear.  For this reason we recommend a house rather than apartment.
