Dexter is a mix of sorts. He's kinda built like a pig but looks like a cow!!.
He was on his own, it took almost a month to get him to come close enough to make friends. He was interested but, unsure and cautious. He has been inside now for the past month and has proved to be a loyal companion.
Dexter does not rush your guests at the door. He will sit back away from the door, perhaps in another room. He will bark but, keep his distance. He does well with other dogs.
His foster family writes this about Dexter -
Dexter came to us out of nowhere. He initially would not come to us. He would chase our cats and eat everything he could. Now he leaves the cats alone, will go outside for potty and always stay around the house. Once he gets to know you - he is as loyal as can be!! YOUR home will be where his HEART settles down at!!
He is devoted and always near us. I was informed he is 3-4 years old (10/11/2016) and is UTD on all his shots.
He will walk well on a leash, but I feel he worries he will be taken somewhere he doesn't want to go. He needs to know you will be keeping him for forever!!
He will talk if he wants something and plays like a puppy with our other dog. He gets along with all he meets - including children!!
The adoption fee for Dexter is $250.00. He will come to you fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped!!
